Ken Hoffman is a Managing Director and Partner with Morse, Towey, White & Hoffman at Hightower. He has advised high-net-worth families since 1981 and focuses on investment strategy, asset allocation and portfolio design. He also specializes in institutional consulting for charitable foundations and corporate retirement plans.
Ken joined Hightower in March 2012, after 18 years with the Private Banking and Investment Group at Merrill Lynch. He previously worked in the private client divisions of Lehman Brothers and E.F. Hutton. Before entering the advisory business, he served as a corporate strategist for two publicly traded U.S. companies and worked as a research economist for the Central Bank of Israel in Jerusalem.
Ken has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology and a Master of Business Administration degree from New York University. He earned an Advanced Professional Certification (APC) degree in Econometrics from the NYU Stern School of Business while also completing doctoral work in economics and finance at NYU and Hebrew University in Jerusalem.
He currently serves on the boards of several philanthropic organizations, including as Treasurer and Chairman of the Finance Committee for the Frisch Academy in Paramus, NJ, and is involved with the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC).
Ken was born and raised in St. Louis, MO, and can often be found talking about his beloved St. Louis Cardinals. He and his wife, Janet, reside in Teaneck, NJ, and have 3 adult children and 5 grandchildren. They enjoy spending their weekends together in Bethel, NY, where Ken highlights his Eagle Scout skills.
